Key Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable and reliable data pipelines to support the collection, processing, and storage of large volumes of data.
Develop and maintain data models to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
Monitor and optimize data performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Ensure data security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Stay updated with advancements in cloud data technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve our data infrastructure.
Mentor and guide junior data engineers and provide technical leadership to the team.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Work in an agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
