About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Data Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. As a Principal Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based data solutions that will drive business insights and enable data-driven decision making. You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to identify and address complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data governance and security measures to ensure the integrity and privacy of our data.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval methods for faster data access and processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and data engineering to continuously improve our data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
• Proven experience with cloud-based data technologies such as AWS (EC2, S3, Redshift, EMR), Azure (SQL Database, Data Factory, Databricks), and Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
