Position: ML Scientist
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $228000 - $256000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ML Scientist to join our team. As an ML Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models that will drive our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop innovative machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to understand the business requirements and develop solutions
- Conduct data analysis and identify patterns and trends to drive insights and recommendations
- Design and implement experiments to test and validate the performance of machine learning models
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing ML models
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply them to improve our algorithms and models
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior team members in developing their skills and knowledge in machine learning
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing machine learning algorithms and models
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and Java
- Experience working with big data tools and frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, and Hive
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
- Proven track record of successfully implementing machine learning solutions in a business setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
