Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet the needs of the organization
Develop data models and database designs to optimize data storage and retrieval
Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures
Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data audits and updates
Manage user access and permissions to databases
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with IT department to implement new database technologies and solutions
Train and support end-users on database usage and best practices
Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and processes
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database management to ensure our databases are at the forefront of technology

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management
Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization
Experience with SQL and database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
Familiarity with data backup and recovery procedures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
