Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network infrastructure solutions to support the organization's business needs
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
- Perform regular network maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and upgrades
- Provide technical support to end-users and assist with resolving network-related issues
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP
- Experience with network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Proficient in network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, and network monitoring tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
