Salary: $130 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Big Data Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Big Data Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our company's Big Data operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our Big Data systems and processes. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a deep understanding of Big Data technologies, excellent leadership skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for managing and optimizing our Big Data operations
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Big Data systems, ensuring maximum uptime and availability
• Manage a team of Big Data specialists, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues or challenges related to Big Data operations
• Design and implement processes for data ingestion, processing, and storage
• Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain documentation for all Big Data processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Big Data technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Big Data systems
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Big Data operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven experience managing and mentoring a team
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations
• Experience with cloud-based Big Data solutions is a plus
