Key Responsibilities:

Develop performance testing strategies and plans based on business requirements and technical specifications
Design, develop, and maintain automated performance test scripts using industry standard tools
Execute performance tests and analyze results to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
Monitor and analyze system performance in production to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
Continuously research and implement new tools and techniques to improve performance testing processes
Mentor and guide junior team members in performance testing best practices and methodologies
Communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders and management in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing, preferably in a senior or lead role
Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or NeoLoad
Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics
Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB, Certified Performance Test Engineer) are a plus
