We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled Junior Information Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the security measures of our organization. You will work closely with our senior security engineers to ensure the protection of our company's data and systems from potential cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in the company's infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and investigate any security breaches or incidents.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that all security measures are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the company's security posture.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security training and awareness programs for employees.
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Provide support for security incidents and participate in incident response activities.
• Work with senior security engineers to implement and maintain security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption technologies.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and resolve any security issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of information security.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ will be considered a plus.
