Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust information security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption methods
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them
Develop and maintain company-wide security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting forensic investigations and implementing remediation strategies as necessary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our business processes and systems
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to our current security infrastructure
Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture within the company
Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for security-related incidents

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desired
Strong understanding of network and system security principles and best practices
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps is a plus
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, is a plus
