Position: IT Director

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead our company's technology department. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization's technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This is a vital leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, strong technical knowledge, and exceptional communication and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's overall technology strategy in alignment with our business goals and objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable technology services.
• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs, challenges, and opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing technology systems and processes, and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and efficient delivery of technology services.
• Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and cost control.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, and make recommendations for new technologies or systems that could benefit the company.
• Oversee the implementation of new technology initiatives, ensuring timely and successful execution.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure and data.
• Act as the main point of contact for all technology-related issues and inquiries from senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a leadership role within the IT industry.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing technology strategies that align with business goals.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience with a variety of technology systems and platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of IT professionals.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in budget management and cost control.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
