Position: AR/VR Developer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $152000 - $192000
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role: As an AR/VR Developer at Lobox, you will be responsible for designing and developing augmented and virtual reality experiences across multiple platforms. You will work closely with our team of designers and engineers to create innovative and immersive experiences for our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AR/VR applications for various platforms including mobile, desktop, and web
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to create engaging and interactive AR/VR experiences
- Optimize experiences for performance and usability
- Conduct research and experiments to improve AR/VR technology and techniques
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues within AR/VR applications
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AR/VR technology
- Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients and customers
- Document and maintain code for future use and reference
- Continuously improve and enhance existing AR/VR applications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in AR/VR development
- Proficient in Unity and/or Unreal Engine
- Strong knowledge of C# and/or C++
- Experience with 3D modeling and animation
- Familiarity with AR/VR hardware and software development kits
- Understanding of UX design principles for AR/VR applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Portfolio showcasing previous AR/VR projects is a plus
