Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain database systems to support business needs and objectives.
Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems are aligned with business requirements.
Identify and implement database security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Perform database upgrades, migrations, and patching as needed.
Create and maintain documentation for database systems, including procedures and policies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior database administrators.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in a senior role.
In-depth knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Experience with database design, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Strong understanding of data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Proficient in database security protocols and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
