Job Title: Senior Information Security Analyst

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our company's information and technology assets by identifying potential security risks and implementing effective security measures. This role will require a strong understanding of information security principles, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret data to identify potential threats. The Senior Information Security Analyst will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, as well as conducting regular security audits to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
• Analyze security data and reports to identify trends and potential threats
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and processes
• Monitor and review security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and support to junior security analysts
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for improvements as needed
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
• Assist with incident response and disaster recovery efforts
• Participate in the development and implementation of security training and awareness programs for employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Familiarity with security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant security certifications, such as CISSP or CISM, are highly desirable
