Position Title: Senior Firmware Engineer

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our firmware meets the highest standards of quality and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems, C/C++ programming, and a passion for developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test firmware for our products, ensuring high levels of reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and implement firmware requirements.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate firmware with application software.
• Develop and maintain firmware architecture and design documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug firmware issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Utilize best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality code.
• Develop and implement test plans and procedures for firmware validation and verification.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in firmware technology and recommend improvements to current processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
• Experience with embedded operating systems, such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or VxWorks.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and USB.
• Experience with hardware design and schematic capture tools.
• Working knowledge of software development tools, such as Git, JIRA, and Eclipse.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
