Key Responsibilities:

Lead the firmware development process, from concept to production, for our products
Design and implement firmware solutions for our embedded systems using C/C++ programming languages
Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and develop firmware requirements and specifications
Work closely with software engineers to integrate firmware with application software
Develop and maintain firmware architecture and design documentation
Conduct firmware testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues
Ensure firmware meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements
Manage firmware version control and release processes
Mentor and guide junior firmware engineers in best practices and coding standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in firmware development
Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with microcontroller architectures
Strong understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems
Experience with firmware development tools and debugging techniques
Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART
Familiarity with software development processes and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Prior experience in a senior or lead firmware engineering role is preferred
