Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of our virtualization infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network components
Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
Participate in planning and implementing upgrades and patches to virtualization software and hardware
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for virtualized environments
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that virtualization solutions meet the needs of various departments and business units
Perform capacity planning and recommend hardware and software upgrades to support future growth
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to virtualization systems and processes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in virtualization and make recommendations for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in virtualization engineering or a related role
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or XenServer
Knowledge of storage solutions such as SAN, NAS, and DAS
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
