Salary: $107 Per hour

As a Senior Virtualization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our virtualization infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our virtualization environment. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement virtualization solutions that meet business needs and align with industry best practices.
• Monitor and maintain the health, capacity, and performance of our virtualization infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to virtualization technologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute virtualization-related projects.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging virtualization technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and training as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and/or XenServer.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• In-depth understanding of network and storage concepts, including VLANs, SAN, and NAS.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications, such as VCP, MCSE, or CCNA, are preferred.
