Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Tester to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Software Tester, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing process and ensuring the quality of our software products. Your role will involve leading a team of testers and collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve any software issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and possess excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement testing strategies and procedures for all software products
• Lead and manage a team of software testers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective testing
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and fix any software defects or bugs
• Review and analyze test results, and provide recommendations for improvements
• Communicate with other departments to understand their software needs and requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in software testing
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the testing process
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures and results
• Mentor and train new team members on testing processes and techniques

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python is a plus
