Responsibilities:

Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards for our cloud-based systems and applications
Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure and application security logs to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks and issues in a timely manner
Design and implement security solutions in the cloud environment, such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and data encryption
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our security posture
Respond to security incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance
Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of our cloud-based systems and data
Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for our cloud infrastructure and applications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, preferably in a large-scale environment
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
In-depth knowledge of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection
Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and data encryption
Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, are preferred but not required
