Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications
Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project requirements and identify potential areas of improvement
Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify and report any bugs or defects
Record and document test results, including any issues or defects found during testing
Participate in the review and analysis of business and technical requirements to identify any gaps or inconsistencies
Conduct regression testing to ensure that any changes or enhancements to the application have not caused any adverse effects
Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects found during testing
Maintain and update test cases and test scripts to ensure they reflect the current functionality of the application
Communicate testing progress and results to project stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
Continuously identify opportunities to improve the testing process and make recommendations for enhancements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Application Tester or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with manual and automated testing tools, such as Selenium or JMeter
Familiarity with programming languages, such as Java or C++, and SQL databases
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report issues or defects
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
