Salary: $69 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Network Engineer to join our growing team. As a Junior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our company's network infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced engineers and have the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience in the field to gain valuable hands-on experience in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN)
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and provide timely resolutions
• Participate in network upgrades and migrations
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure network security and compliance with company policies
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in networking or a related field (internship experience will be considered)
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP
• Knowledge of network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, Network+) are a plus
