Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and reliability of our systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure design, deployment, and management, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of infrastructure engineers in designing, deploying, and maintaining the company's infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems.
• Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring that service level agreements are met.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network components.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to protect the company's infrastructure from cyber threats.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in infrastructure technologies to make recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation of all infrastructure systems and processes.
• Mentor and train junior infrastructure engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of network, server, and storage technologies, including virtualization, cloud computing, and data center operations.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in infrastructure design.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in project management and leading a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. CCNA, MCSE) are a plus.
