Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Visualization Engineer to join our team. As a Data Visualization Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visualizations to help our company make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with our data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their needs and create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data visualization and a passion for turning complex data into easy-to-understand visuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using industry-leading data visualization tools
• Translate data into meaningful and actionable insights through effective data visualization techniques
• Develop and maintain data visualization standards and best practices for the organization
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and usability of existing visualizations
• Stay updated with the latest data visualization trends and tools to enhance the visual storytelling capabilities of the team
• Work with the data engineering team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for visualization
• Communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate visualizations into business processes and applications
• Provide training and support to team members on data visualization techniques and tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data visualization or a similar role
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles
• Experience working with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into easy-to-understand visualizations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Experience with dashboard design and development for mobile and web platforms is a plus
• Passion for data and a continuous learner mindset to keep up with evolving data visualization technologies and techniques.
