Position: Senior IT Security Analyst

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Senior IT Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's sensitive information and assets from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all systems and networks are secure, and all security measures are up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in IT security, risk management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and networks
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and investigate any potential security breaches
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for enhancements to improve our overall security posture
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to educate them on best practices for preventing cyber threats
• Respond to incidents and provide technical support for security-related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure and applications
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks
• Stay current with compliance requirements and ensure that all security measures are in line with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in IT security, preferably in a senior or lead role
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC, are a plus
