We are currently seeking a Software Release Manager to join our team and oversee the release of our cutting-edge software products. As the Software Release Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our software to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, project managers, and product owners, to manage the release process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, and schedules for all software releases.
• Coordinate and facilitate release meetings with cross-functional teams to review release status and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Communicate release status updates to stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and senior management.
• Create and maintain release documentation, including release notes, user guides, and installation instructions.
• Develop and maintain tools and processes for release management, such as version control and issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that all code changes are properly documented, tested, and ready for release.
• Manage the deployment of software releases to various environments, including development, testing, and production.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all releases are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the release process.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in the release process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in release management, software development, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
• Proficient in project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with deployment tools, such as Jenkins or Chef, is a plus.
