Position: Senior Embedded Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Embedded Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality embedded software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for embedded systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for our products
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and requirements
• Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code for embedded systems
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of software and hardware components
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in embedded systems
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
• Proficient in C/C++ programming languages
• Experience with embedded operating systems such as Linux, RTOS, or FreeRTOS
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded systems hardware
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and USB
• Familiarity with software development tools, debuggers, and emulators
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi
• Knowledge of hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of software testing methods and tools
