Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement database structures that meet the company's requirements and standards
Develop efficient and scalable database solutions to support business operations
Optimize database performance and ensure data security
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement database improvements
Create and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
Stay updated with emerging database technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems
Conduct regular data audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Provide technical support to end-users and assist with data-related inquiries
Participate in database planning and development meetings to contribute ideas and suggestions for database improvements
Train and mentor junior database developers, as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of database design, SQL, and data manipulation
Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
Familiarity with data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Understanding of database security and backup procedures
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
