Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Game Tester to join our team. As a Principal Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our video games before they are released to the public. You will lead a team of game testers and work closely with developers, designers, and other key stakeholders to deliver top-notch gaming experiences to our players. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the game development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of game testers and provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high-quality testing.
• Develop and implement testing strategies and plans for upcoming games, updates, and patches.
• Create and execute test cases and scenarios to identify bugs and issues in the game.
• Work closely with developers and designers to communicate and resolve any issues found during testing.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design and art, to ensure the game meets all quality standards.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure previously identified issues have been resolved.
• Analyze and report on testing results, providing detailed feedback to the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game testing techniques and tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in game testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of game development processes and methodologies.
• Experience with various testing tools and techniques, including bug tracking software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
