Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior IT Infrastructure Manager to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure components, such as servers, networks, and security systems. The Junior IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's IT infrastructure, as well as identifying and implementing improvements to enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, firewalls, and storage systems
• Monitor system performance and identify potential issues and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
• Manage the deployment of new hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and proper integration with existing systems
• Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
• Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure data protection and business continuity
• Maintain accurate documentation of all IT infrastructure processes and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the company's infrastructure
• Assist in the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT infrastructure management role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, server hardware, and operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. CCNA, MCSA) are a plus
