Salary: $152000 - $192000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Software Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for managing the configuration of our software products and ensuring that all changes are properly documented and implemented. This is a critical role in our organization as it involves overseeing the entire software development process and ensuring that all software releases are delivered on time and in accordance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software configuration management processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and manage software configuration requirements.
• Monitor and control changes to software baselines, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
• Maintain and manage software version control systems, including branching and merging of code.
• Develop and maintain build scripts and tools to automate the software build process.
• Conduct software builds and releases, ensuring that all deliverables are of high quality and meet project requirements.
• Manage software release schedules and coordinate with the development and testing teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration management issues and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate software configuration status and issues to project stakeholders, including the project manager, development team, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with software configuration management policies and procedures.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software configuration management processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in software version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Perforce.
• Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
