Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Data Privacy Officer to join our growing team. As a Senior Data Privacy Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, developing and implementing privacy policies and procedures, and providing guidance and training to employees on data privacy best practices. This is a critical role within our organization, as data privacy is a top priority for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor and ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Conduct regular audits to identify any potential risks and vulnerabilities in our data privacy practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, IT, and HR, to ensure data privacy compliance throughout the organization
• Provide guidance and training to employees on data privacy best practices and ensure awareness and understanding of privacy policies and procedures
• Serve as the main point of contact for data privacy inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulatory agencies
• Oversee data privacy impact assessments and data breach incident response plans
• Keep abreast of changes in data privacy laws and regulations and communicate any updates or changes to the organization
• Work with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure data privacy compliance in all aspects of our business operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Technology, Business, or Law
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data privacy and compliance, preferably in a senior-level role
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
• Experience developing and implementing data privacy policies and procedures
• Ability to conduct data privacy audits and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors to ensure data privacy compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional certifications in data privacy, such as CIPP or CIPT, are highly preferred
