Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Principal IT Systems Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall IT infrastructure and managing a team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our company's systems. As a Principal IT Systems Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our company's IT systems.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to improve the overall performance and reliability of our systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify the IT needs of the company and provide solutions to meet those needs.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new systems and upgrades to existing systems.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• Manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and in line with business objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems by implementing appropriate security measures and protocols.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in the event of a system failure.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to support the training and development of team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department, encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT systems management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing complex IT systems and infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-based systems.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is preferred.
