Salary: $123 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Application Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Application Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our company's applications and systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our applications from potential cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement application security policies, procedures, and standards
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Design and implement security controls to protect our applications from cyber attacks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks in the development and deployment process
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with security standards
• Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and respond to security incidents
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for mitigation
• Lead and mentor a team of application security engineers
• Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders and provide guidance for remediation
• Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of application security principles and best practices
• Experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment tools
• Knowledge of web application frameworks and languages such as Java, .NET, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as OWASP, PCI DSS, and GDPR
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CSSLP are a plus
