About the Role: Lobox is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Site Reliability Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Site Reliability Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications. You will work closely with our engineering, operations, and product teams to identify and resolve issues, implement process improvements, and drive the overall stability and efficiency of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the health of our systems and applications through proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Work closely with engineering teams to identify and address potential performance and scalability bottlenecks
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement and maintain automated deployment, configuration, and testing processes
• Conduct regular system and application performance analysis and make recommendations for improvements
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and applications
• Develop and maintain system and application documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reliability
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to site reliability engineering and make recommendations for their implementation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to take on new challenges
