Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability, availability, and performance of our company's systems. Your expertise in site reliability engineering will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain systems to support our company's infrastructure
• Monitor systems and proactively identify and resolve any issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance
• Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline processes and increase efficiency
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential areas for improvement
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our systems and processes
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a site reliability engineering role
• Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when needed
