Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Site Reliability Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal Site Reliability Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our company's online platforms and services. This is a highly technical role that requires a deep understanding of systems and infrastructure, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems and services.
• Develop and maintain tools and processes for monitoring system performance, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and conduct regular performance testing to identify potential bottlenecks and improve system performance.
• Continuously analyze and improve system reliability, scalability, and resiliency.
• Manage incident response and resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve the overall skill set and performance of the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively making recommendations for improvements and optimizations to our systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a Site Reliability or DevOps role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior position.
• Strong experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
