Salary: $69 Per hour

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Release Manager to join our team. As the Junior Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of our software releases. You will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to coordinate and manage the release process, from planning to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and coordinate software releases
• Create and maintain release schedules and ensure timely delivery of releases
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues that may affect the release
• Communicate release plans, progress, and any potential delays to stakeholders
• Coordinate and facilitate release meetings and follow up on action items
• Maintain release documentation and ensure it is up-to-date
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the release process
• Work with the development team to ensure proper version control and branching strategies are followed
• Monitor and track release metrics to identify areas of improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in release management or project coordination
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and release processes
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and SVN
• Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
