Job Title: Principal Release Manager

Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Release Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Release Manager, you will be responsible for managing the release process of our software products and ensuring timely and successful delivery to our clients. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of software release processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end release management process for all software products, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all release requirements are clearly defined and communicated.
• Develop and maintain release plans, timelines, and schedules, while tracking progress and identifying any potential roadblocks.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth and successful releases.
• Continuously improve release processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
• Communicate release status and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and clients.
• Identify and implement tools and automation to streamline the release process and improve overall product quality.
• Mentor and coach team members on release management best practices and provide guidance on complex release issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure all code changes meet quality standards and are properly tested before release.
• Manage and resolve any release-related incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution to minimize impact on clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in release management, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes.
• Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering complex software releases.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of release management tools and automation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.
