Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain build automation tools and processes to support the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and project managers, to ensure smooth and timely software releases.
Monitor and troubleshoot build failures and issues, and implement solutions to improve build efficiency and stability.
Continuously evaluate and improve the build and release processes to optimize productivity and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in build and release management, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Document and communicate build processes, procedures, and configurations to team members and stakeholders.
Lead and mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Build Engineer or a similar role.
Extensive experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or TeamCity.
Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.
Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience with build and release management for complex, multi-tier applications.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
