Job Title: Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $138 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal AI Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge AI technology. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our AI systems, as well as staying at the forefront of emerging technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of our AI infrastructure, including data storage, processing, and deployment systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our AI systems.
• Optimize existing infrastructure and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI infrastructure, and make recommendations for their adoption.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and other team activities to ensure high-quality, maintainable code and effective collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to our AI infrastructure, both independently and with the support of team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and infrastructure engineering, with a focus on AI and machine learning.
• Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale, highly available infrastructure.
• Expertise in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, Java, and C++.
• Experience with data storage and processing technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and identify root causes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technology and a drive to continuously improve processes and systems.
