Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Big Data Specialist to join our growing team. As a Junior Big Data Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing large datasets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data infrastructure to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the data science team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and gather relevant data from various sources
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain data models to support data analysis and reporting
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in the big data space and make recommendations for their integration into our infrastructure
• Document data processes, procedures, and standards
• Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
