Position: Junior IT Asset Manager

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Overview: Lobox is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Junior IT Asset Manager. As a Junior IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all hardware and software assets within our company. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all assets are accounted for, tracked, and properly maintained. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all assets are accounted for and in compliance with company policies
• Work with vendors to procure new assets and ensure timely delivery and installation
• Track assets through their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal
• Create and maintain asset management processes and procedures
• Monitor and report on asset utilization and make recommendations for optimization
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure all assets are properly configured and maintained
• Provide support for asset-related inquiries and issues from other departments
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in IT asset management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in IT asset management or a related field
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware/software components
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of IT asset management software is a plus
