Role Overview: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and managing our cloud platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure to support our growing customer base. You will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud platform infrastructure using industry best practices
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the performance and availability of our cloud services
• Work closely with development teams to deploy and manage applications on the cloud platform
• Optimize the cloud infrastructure for cost-efficiency and scale as needed to support business growth
• Implement security measures to protect our cloud platform and customer data
• Automate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud-related policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on building and managing cloud infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, and experience configuring network services in the cloud
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, and experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) will be considered a strong asset
