Salary: $270000 - $310000

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Deployment Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal Cloud Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the deployment of complex cloud solutions and provide technical expertise to support our business goals. This is a high-impact role that requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions
• Develop and maintain deployment processes and automation tools for cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions
• Drive the adoption of best practices for cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and operations
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance of our cloud infrastructure
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on deployment and operations
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud environments
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex cloud infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• AWS or Azure certification is a plus
