Job Title: Junior DevOps Automation Engineer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior DevOps Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Junior DevOps Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our automation infrastructure to support our DevOps processes. You will work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for our DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to identify areas for automation and implement solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Work with software developers to integrate automated tests into the build and release process.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the automation infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve the automation infrastructure.
• Document all automation processes and procedures for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
