Salary: $247000 - $288000

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Principal Cloud Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure its reliability, scalability, and availability. You will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our cloud-based products and services and will be a key contributor to our overall technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices for the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot our cloud infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud infrastructure and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new cloud technologies and services that align with our business needs.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
• Work closely with project teams to provide technical expertise and support during all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets all necessary security and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including virtualization, networking, and storage.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
