Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of the company's application security strategy and policies.
Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in our applications.
Design and implement security controls and measures to mitigate risks and address vulnerabilities.
Manage and maintain security tools and systems to monitor and protect the company's applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company's application security posture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development process and ensure the security of new and existing applications.
Conduct regular training and awareness sessions to educate employees on application security best practices.
Investigate and respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in application security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
Strong knowledge of web application security vulnerabilities and their remedies.
Experience with web application security tools such as static and dynamic code analysis, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools.
Familiarity with web application frameworks and coding languages (e.g. Java, .NET, PHP).
Experience with secure coding practices and standards (e.g. OWASP, SANS).
Strong understanding of network and application security protocols.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
