Position: Senior Cloud Security Specialist

Salary: $107 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Cloud Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud-based systems, applications, and data. As a Senior Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential security risks, implementing security solutions, and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cloud security strategies, policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud-based systems and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to proactively identify and respond to potential security threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams during the design and development phases to ensure that security is built into the cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based systems and applications.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to cloud security and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security, providing guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions to educate employees on cloud security best practices and policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, data encryption, and vulnerability scanners.
• In-depth understanding of security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and objectively evaluate complex situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
