About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal IoT Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge IoT solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions that deliver tangible business value. This is a key leadership role, where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of IoT technology and drive meaningful impact for our clients and the industry as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end IoT solutions, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and data scientists, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Architect and implement cloud-based IoT platforms, utilizing a variety of tools and technologies.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest IoT trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for their integration into our solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing technical guidance and support.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing innovative IoT solutions to address their challenges.
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of IoT solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in IoT.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IoT projects from conception to production.
• Strong proficiency in cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Extensive experience with IoT protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP, or AMQP.
• Familiarity with IoT hardware components, such as sensors, gateways, and microcontrollers.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
