Key responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement machine vision algorithms and techniques for various applications
Lead a team of engineers in the development of machine vision systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and provide innovative solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine vision technology and incorporate them into our systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with existing systems
Conduct testing and validation of machine vision systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to ensure project timelines and goals are met
Mentor and train junior engineers on machine vision techniques and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine vision engineering
Strong understanding of image processing techniques and algorithms
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB
Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques
Familiarity with machine vision software such as OpenCV and Matrox
Proven track record of leading successful machine vision projects from concept to implementation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
